In 2006, Danner’s Security went on to expand their security services by offering remote video monitoring services for businesses.  In 2007, Danner’s Security began offering these live video monitoring solutions that included mobile camera monitoring trailers and pole / wall mounted monitoring systems.  In 2012, they added hardware and software solutions that gave them an edge over the competition with improved detection capabilities.

Danner’s Security is hiring an energetic, professional, outside-based Account Executive for Houston, TX and surrounding areas. This position will allow an introduction to fixed and mobile camera solutions for a wide variety of industries. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with technology as well as the ability and desire to take on additional tasks as the work environment dictates. Experience with CRM software is a plus along with strong phone and presentation skills.

This is a very hands-on position with a company that is experiencing significant growth and change. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is a must. This is a hunter position and ideal candidate will be comfortable managing leads, calls, territory visits, and any other activities required to drive revenue for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Business Development Executive with all tasks related to account management.
  • Develops and maintain an active lead generation plan with the assigned territory though key productivity indicators through cold calls, referrals, contact with local companies, and networking events.
  • Effective plans and sales presentations to prospective customers.
  • Conducts job site surveys to determine best solution for prospective customer, provide layout, and pricing options in a timely manner.
  • Assists with site plan development, planning, and selecting subcontracting to meet installation needs based on forecasts and actual bookings.
  • Accompany installation team to ensure site layout is understood by the team.
  • Follow-up with customers after install to ensure system is working properly and customer has a full understanding of how to operate the software.
  • Exhibits a thorough knowledge of all pricing procedures and strategies to ensure that all estimates are accurate and will deliver the expected return.
  • Responsible for planning, forecasting and monitoring all sales activity.
  • Create weekly sales reports to include all sales activity including calls, meetings, networking events, closed sales, and projections.
  • Must have ability to follow solid sales leads and prioritize sales activities that will produce the fastest results.
  • Must be well organized with all documentation as it pertains to sales funnel development.
  • Answers, screens and routes telephone calls in a professional manner.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

  • This is a “hunter” position
  • Exceeding sales activities and plans
  • Knowledge of basic system designs, applications, costs, lead generation, and time management
  • Must hold 3-5 years of business to business (B2B) experience with security system sales
  • Experience with CCTV installations and other integrated security systems is a plus
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours as needed (Rare)

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in technology industry, ideally in B2B setting.
  • Exposure to high-volume sales environments.
  • Job Environment:
  • The environment is casual, yet professional. The hours worked may be somewhat flexible, but will likely be during our shift from 8 am – 5 pm. Appropriate attire for construction sites is acceptable. I.e. Boots, jeans, and collared shirts)

Compensation:

  • Competitive, depends on experience. Considerable upside compensation potential. Base + Commission packages .

Our Requirements Include:

• Have a current Commissioned or Non-Commissioned Security Officer License for the State of Texas
• Pass a Criminal Background Investigation
• Have and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Show stable work history – with a minimum 1 year Security Guard work experience
• Possess a HS Diploma or GED
• Must have reliable transportation
• TWIC card is needed for most posts
• Must maintain a good contact phone number
