West Point Lincoln Testimonial
Chris Poulis from West Point Lincoln describes his experience with Danner’s Security along with the advantages of installing a digital security system and avoiding the pitfalls that come with hired security guards.
In today’s world, ensuring the safety and security of your car dealership is crucial. A digital security system with cameras and AI analytics can help you achieve this in numerous ways. Here are some of the advantages of having such a system in place:
- Deter Crime: One of the most significant advantages of having a digital security system with AI analytics and cameras is that it can help deter criminal activity. The mere presence of cameras can discourage potential thieves or vandals from attempting to break into your dealership, as they will know that they are being watched.
- Early Detection: In the unfortunate event that a crime does occur, a digital security system with AI analytics can help detect it early on. The AI analytics can analyze the video footage in real-time and alert you to any suspicious activity, allowing you to take immediate action.
- Evidence Collection: In the event of a crime, having a digital security system with cameras and AI analytics can provide valuable evidence. The high-quality footage captured by the cameras can be used to identify suspects and provide evidence in court, increasing the chances of a conviction.
- Employee Safety: Car dealerships can be busy and hectic environments, which can pose a risk to employees’ safety. A digital security system with cameras and AI analytics can help monitor the premises and ensure that employees are safe at all times.
- Customer Safety: In addition to employee safety, a digital security system with cameras and AI analytics can also help ensure the safety of customers visiting your dealership. The cameras can monitor the premises and alert you to any suspicious activity, allowing you to take action to ensure the safety of your customers.
- Remote Monitoring: With a digital security system in place, you can remotely monitor your dealership from anywhere in the world. This means that you can keep an eye on your dealership even when you’re not physically there, giving you peace of mind and allowing you to respond quickly to any incidents that may occur.
Overall, investing in a digital security system with cameras and AI analytics is a smart decision for car dealerships looking to ensure the safety and security of their premises, employees, and customers. If you’re looking for advantages that can help deter crime, detect incidents early, collect evidence, and ensure the safety of everyone on the premises, we can help.
We had the unfortunate occasion of having a break-in. People got into our building and did some damage and when I had a hired guard on site and they didn’t catch him, I had to go do something else. I was talking to another dealer in Houston Auto Dealers and he told me that they used Danner’s. They assessed the property in a couple of days frankly and they put a map together and put the sight lines where where we needed them.
We not only use these cameras for security, but I use them as a matter of personnel control and customer control so we can see what’s going on on the property. With a camera and a server, I can look at these properties on my desktop or I can look at them on my phone and whenever I need to. It’s a fixed unit on a pole or a ceiling mounted unit that has voice call down. Physical presence is helpful but the voice call down is invaluable.
First, they notify the consumer that, you know, we’re closed and you need to leave the property. If they find that there’s someone that’s really loitering and trying to maybe do some harm, they’ll get a little more aggressive and make sure and get those people off the lot. If, at that point, they don’t do anything then the authorities are called.
There is some initial cost to putting the cameras in but in the long run when you run out the expense versus security guards that I typically find sleeping in their car, I’m well ahead of the game now.
